Safeguarding Children
We take our responsibility to Safeguard all the children in our care very seriously. The child’s safety is always paramount. In the event of problems we can offer support, advice and referrals to other agencies, which may be able to offer further help. If we feel a child is at risk of harm we refer the child to Children’s Services.
Esafety is a growing area for concern, even for the youngest children. The children are made aware of the risks from people who pretend to be someone that they aren't, the importance of protecting their details and cyber bullying. Please see our internet safety information in the News section of our website.

Roller Boots, Bikes and Scooters
Children are no longer allowed to wear or bring
roller boots into the school. They are causing
lots of problems with managing them and, unfortunately, it has been decided that these
must be left at home. Bikes and scooters
should be parked in the bike store or against
the fence if space is short. Please do not use
the buggy park as this is for the baby clinics
and activities in the Children's Centre.
Bikes and scooters must not be ridden on the
school site, and should be walked through the grounds to avoid any accidents.
Thank you for your co-operation in this.

Bicycle and Scooter Security
Recently, we have had incidents where bikes and scooters that have been left overnight at school have gone missing. For security, we would suggest that if you are going to leave bikes and scooters in the cycle storage area, that they are secured with a chain, as items left in this area are not the School's responsibility.
Similarly, scooters and bikes cannot be left in school corridors or classrooms during the day and must either be securely stored in the cycle storage area or taken home with you.
Thank you for your co-operation in this.

A note to all Parents and Carers
We have had some instances recently of parents coming in to school and waiting outside the classroom to pick up their children at home time.
As you can appreciate, this is a busy time of the day as children and staff are getting things ready to go home, and space is limited.
Therefore, we must insist that all parents/carers must wait outside the designated entrance for your child's class.
Thank you.
|
Parking
Please be aware that the car parks in front of the Infant and Junior Schools are for staff and authorised users only. Parents can park in the car parks on the Rec. or on the street.
